Welcome!

If this is the first time you are visiting with us, we are so delighted you have found your way to First Mt. Juliet. Whether through our website, our members, or our community events — whatever brought you here was designed to be a way for us to get to know one another.

Whether you're single, married, single again, with or without children, young or old — no matter where you've been or what you've done — we invite you to experience freedom, joy, and life with us at First Mt. Juliet.

Never Been to Church? No Problem!

First Mt. Juliet is a place of people from many different walks of life. Whether you're checking out church for the first time or have attended church your entire life, there's a place for you at First Mt. Juliet.

Join us this Sunday at 735 N. Mt. Juliet Road. We gather for worship every Sunday at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m.

We also offer Small Group Bible study at 9:35 a.m. We have over 30 small groups ... groups for every age and stage of life. Stop by our Welcome Center for a list and for help finding the Small Group that's right for you.

What should I wear?

We welcome you to come as you are. There isn't a dress code. Some of our members wear suits and dresses, some wear jeans and T-shirts. Whatever you wear, you'll fit in here!

God-Focused Worship

God calls each believer to worship Him in Spirit and Truth, and this is how we ascribe worth to Jesus at First Mt. Juliet! Our worship services are filled with expectation of the Holy Spirit, the celebration of life change, and the exaltation of Jesus!

Sound, Biblical Teaching

We believe the Bible is the Word of God without any error, the sole authority for life and faith. All preaching and teaching, both in Worship services and Small Group settings, comes from the Bible.

Hot Coffee

Stop by the Fellowship Hall near the Welcome Center in the main lobby for a FREE fresh cup of coffee!

Friendly Faces

First Mt. Juliet is home to some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. No matter your age or stage of life, we want you to feel welcome because you matter!

Kids love First Mt. Juliet!

Sunday worship care classes are available from newborn to 5th grade. Your children are important to you, and they're important to us! First Mt. Juliet Kids is focused on providing a nurturing, safe environment for children to learn and become who God made them to be.

Where do I take my kids?

If you have children you'll want to go into the Children's Building (directly in front of our Guest Parking). When you walk in, head to the guest check-in counter and let them know it's your first time! They will get your children plugged into our system and will give you a security tag. They will then walk with you to your children's classes, let you say your goodbyes, and escort you to worship.

You can feel safe leaving your children in our care!  All of our kids leaders have been safety certified, background checked, and trained to work with your child's age group.

Students connect at First Mt. Juliet!

Middle school and high school students have the opportunity to connect in small groups during our 9:35 a.m. hour. They attend adult worship in the main worship center. On Wednesday evenings, our students have a student-led worship service in the Student Center.

Where do students go?

All middle school and high school students meet in the Student Center, which is downstairs in the Administration wing of the building. Unlike the children's area, there is no official check-in or check-out system for our students. However, you can be sure that there will be adults and students stationed at the doors to welcome you and your student to our student ministry. Parents, you are more than welcome to drop off and pick up your student. But you're also welcome to plan a meeting spot to connect with your student when activities end.

You can feel safe leaving your student in our care!  All of our student leaders have been safety certified, background checked, and trained to work with your student's age group.

What about small groups?

When Jesus came to earth, He took 12 men, taught them, ate with them, and walked through life with them. It is our desire to imitate this within our Small Groups. You can't really get to know people by slipping in and out of a huge Worship Center. Friendships and relationships grow best in small groups where intimacy and transparency are encouraged. Every Sunday between our worship services at 9:35am we offer you a time to attend a small group. We have them for every age and stage ... from infants to over 100 years old! Just head to our Welcome Center to find a group for you.
